Overview
You will get the real experience of Gatka, an ancient Indian martial art form largely associated with Sikh warriors. The skill has passed down the generations although it's no longer used in the army. Gatka continues to be a part of the Punjab’s rich legacy. Learn about the historical and cultural of Gatka and to watch a Gatka demonstration is definitely an impressive experience. You will see the fascinating moves and techniques deployed by Gatka practitioners who usually are dressed in graceful blue attire. The major element of Gatka is stick fighting and the sticks are used to simulate swords. You will also learn some of the techniques and try your hand at different Gatka styles such as Chakar sport and stick fighting.
