Overview
Follow an Escape Tour through Gorinchem and discover the city in a unique way. Dive into the famous story of Hugo de Groot who escaped Castle Loevestein in a bookcase but still had to escape the city. Help him find the secret exit out of Gorinchem. In 1621, traitor Hugo de Groot was locked in Castle Loevestein. Maid Elsje worked in the castle and was allowed to bring books from the town of Gorinchem to Hugo de Groot. They got an idea, Hugo could leave the castle in a bookcase. They tried and Hugo traveled with Else into Gorinchem, once in the town the soldiers had discovered his escape from Loevestein and locked the city. Now, Hugo's only option was the secret exit out of Gorinchem. Wander through Gorinchem to help Hugo find the secret exit out of the city. Try to solve the assignments, difficult questions, and fun riddles. You will play the Escape Tour using an app you'll download before starting the race against the clock. Follow the clues, solve the puzzles to escape the city within 2 hours. Good luck!
