Overview
Live a unique experience in the heart of Panama's rain forest visiting the Embera tribe village, the Chagres National Park and Lake Alajuela.First, explore Lake Alajuela aboard empirical canoes, then arrive at the Embera tribe village, where you'll be welcome by the melody of the drum, flute, and all-natural musical instruments to relax your senses. The Embera people are proud to share their culture with visitors, you'll hear a detailed speech about their origin, dialect, traditions, and lifestyle. Then, witness the Embera traditional dance and Rumba mostly performed by women while the traditional musical instruments are played by men. Later, you'll also delight your palate with their fine traditional cuisine. Handcrafted items are available as souvenirs and you can have a traditional non-permanent Embera tattoo, the ink is made out off of fruit and no needle is used.
