Overview
The tour will start by driving along the small back roads in your Kubelwagen all-terrain jeep, through remote villages and ever-changing landscapes, up to Bangli. Here, you will visit Pura Kehen, one of Bali's most beautiful temples that is dedicated to the three Trimurti Balinese Gods: Brahma, Winsu, and Shiwa. You will then proceed north along the slope of the Agung volcano, the highest mountain on Bali. After more driving through breathtaking landscapes of rice terraces and Salak (snake fruit) plantations, you will reach Tirta Gangga, the former Royal spring-fed bathing pools. This is an extraordinary place that is a must on a trip to Bali! On a very narrow road, high above the sea, we surround the Mount Seraya, with its amazing barren landscape that contrasts with the deep blue sea. If the weather is clear, Lombok, the neighboring island, can be clearly seen. After lunch at a local restaurant with spectacular view over the Lombok Strait, you'll continue driving south along the eastern coast with its beaches of black lava sand, via the Ujung and Candidasa villages.
