Overview
After pick-up from your hotel in the morning, you will travel to the far east and Lempuyang. Visit the 1st stage of the Penataran temple area, famous for the stunning white gate that faces Mount Agung. Don't miss out on a beautiful photo opportunity here. Continue the day with a drive and visit of Taman Ujung water palace. The complex consists of various large pools and historic structures set against a backdrop of Mount Agung and the eastern shoreline. Enjoy your lunch at Candidasa and continue the day with a visit to Goa Lawah, also known as 'Bat Cave'. This is considered one of Bali’s most important temples and it features a complex built around a cave opening that is inhabited by bats. You will end the day at Kusamba beach, one of East Bali’s many tranquil and exotic black sand beaches, famous for its traditional salt farms that date back almost a thousand years before driving back to South Bali.
