Overview
Canoeing at Lake Momella is one of the most fascinating activities to experience at Arusha National Park. The algae-rich shallow and alkaline waters are ideal habitats for flamingos, pelicans, ducks, and gooses as well as many migratory waterfowls. There are over 650 species of birds have been registered. On a clear day, the horizon opens up to the snowy peak of Mount Kilimanjaro while the opposite side is dominated the massive Mount Meru.On this canoe safari, you can view buffaloes, bushbuck, giraffes, hippos, and many water birds living in and close to the water.
