Bali offers a lot for those interested in culture and this tour offers the very best of Bali in one full day. On this compact tour, you'll visit some of the island's most impressive cultural sights. Drive north and first visit one of Bali's most popular photo sets - the Tegalalang rice terraces.Not far from the rice terraces is the Tirta Empul Temple with its holy springs. The water is said to have healing powers and to protect the body and soul from evil spirits. Then you'll have the opportunity to explore Gunung Kawi. Approximately 300 steps lead down to the temple complex, which is one of the oldest in Bali.A delicious Indonesian lunch will be served in Ubud before heading to the next impressive Hindu temple. Through the huge gorge of a stone demon you can enter Goa Gajah, also called elephant cave. Before you start your return journey, stop at the old Kertha Gosa court hall. The building, which was built in the 18th century, is located in the former Balinese capital of Klungkung and is a cultural highlight with its impressive architecture and painting.
