Overview
Discover the Archaeological Excavations of Pompeii and set off on a fascinating journey into the past. To date, the excavations of Pompeii represent the third most visited state museum site in Italy, and has become a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with the excavations of Herculaneum and Oplonti.You will take the bus to reach the archaeologicl park. Then, the guided tour will take you in the Forum area, the Baths, the Eumachia market, the Basilica, the Lupanare, the Teatro Grande, the villas, the domus and the stores of wealthy Roman patricians and skilled Pompeian merchants. You'll have free time for lunch.After lunch you will reach Mount Vesuvius and walk through the nature reserve reaching the summit, where you will enjoy the breathtaking views of the entire Bay of Naples!
