Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel and meet your guide, who will accompany you in your pick-up vehicle to a village, and the Gurdwara Sri Tarn Taran Sahib, also called Tarn Taran Sikh Temple. Before visiting the temple, you will stop at a scenic village to explore rural Punjab. Check out the cattle sheds, village dwellings, the brick-tiled village paths, and other charming rustic sights. During the tour, you will also visit the vast farmlands aboard tractor trolleys.Now you will visit the Gurdwara Sri Tarn Taran Sahib, in the Tarn Taran village. Learn about the city’s history from your guide, who will tell you interesting stories about the partition of Punjab and other events.Taran Taran Temple is one of the oldest Gurudwaras here and its complex has a large holy Sarovar (pond), which is one of the biggest of all holy Sikh temple ponds. The Tarn Taran Temple has a rather opulent architecture and may easily be mistaken for a palace.
