10forBrass is a professional brass ensemble. It consists of twelve musicians who have studied at the conservatoires in Berlin, Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg, Hannover, Cologne, Leipzig, Stuttgart and Weimar, who have held permanent Engagements in German symphony orchestras and since the founding of the ensemble in 2010 regularly give concerts In Germany and abroad. In June 2013, the first recording "Portrait" in the Label appeared , in June 2015, the Ensemble released its second CD recording, "Original". The third publication dedicated to Opera Music will be published in March 2019. In addition to the usual literature for 10-Ensemble, 10forBrass is dedicated to expanding the repertoire for this standard formation. For example, the musicians have increasingly placed orders for new compositions and Arrangements.

The Ensemble was founded in 2010 by young musicians from all over Germany. Among others, 10forBrass performed in 2011 and 2013 at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, gave concerts at the MDR-Musiksommer 2012 and 2014 and at the Hohenloher Kultursommer 2014.

22. December 2013 broadcast of the German-French culture channel ARTE a result of the program "Stars of tomorrow" with Rolando Villazón, in the 10forBrass with interpretations of Dmitri Shostakovich's "Festive Overture Op. 96" and Irving Berlin's "Puttin' on the Ritz" was presented.

The members of the ensemble have all played in international orchestras, including the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, the Gustav Mahler youth orchestra, the Young Philharmonic orchestra of lower Saxony and the orchestra Academy of the Schleswig-Holstein music festival. The Repertoire ranges from Johann Sebastian Bach and Dmitri Shostakovich to George Gershwin and Chick Corea, whose pieces are arranged for brass.
