About

Paco Garcia, a tenor from Reims, began Music at an early age.

He began at the Conservatory of Reims in modern cello and then at the Conservatory of Châlons-en-Champagne in baroque cello. He discovered singing at the age of 12 at the Cathedral of Reims where he remained for two years during which time he had the opportunity to participate in several projects as a soloist (soprano) such as Jean-Sébastien Bach's Passion according to Saint John with the Académie Sainte Cécile under the direction of Philippe Couvert or even the Enchanted flute of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart at the Opera of Reims under the direction of Vincent Barthe.

It is only after passing his baccalaureate that he seriously considers working on his voice. He then enrolled at the age of 19 at the Conservatoire of the 1st arrondissement of Paris and entered Valérie Millot's class. Three years later, he entered the cycle spécialisée (DEM) and raised his singing prize the following year. It works in parallel with all The Storm under the direction of Simon-Pierre Bestion and also with the ensemble Les Cris de Paris under the direction of Geoffroy Jourdain.

Since September 2015, Paco Garcia is a student at the CNSMD in Paris in the Class of Alain Buet and has had the opportunity to work during master classes organized by the conservatory, with Raphael Pichon (head of the Pygmalion ensemble) or Benoit Haller (head of the Rhenish Chapel ensemble).
