A teacher of Applied Arts for several years, Marc Chapron studied music and singing at the Conservatoire d'Angoulême, where he obtained his diplomas. Various internships and master-classes allow him to participate in many oratorio concerts (MA Charpentier, Bach Cantatas, Mozart's Requiem, Salieri and Fauré, Masses of Haydn, Schubert, Gounod, Messe Solennelle by Berlioz, Mendelssohn, Missa di Gloria of Puccini, Te Deum of Bruckner).
He performs in baroque opera with Jean-Louis Bindi (Pluto in Il Ballo delle ingrate, Caron and Pluto in L'Orfeo), Malcolm Bothwell (King Artur and Diocletian of Purcell), Michel Laplénie and the vocal ensemble of the Abbey to the Ladies of Saintes.
He also sings Bartolo of the Barber of Seville and the Commander of Don Giovanni at the Musical Days of Charleroi, the Second Priest and the Second Man-at-Arms of The Magic Flute with Jean-François Gardeil at the Flaran Festival in Agennais and Agen. Holder of the Choirs of the Opéra National de Paris since 2000, he is regularly entrusted with solo roles. He studied many bass roles with Jacques Mars (Arkel de Pelléas and Mélisande, the title role of Massenet's Don Quichotte, Herod of The Childhood of Christ).
