About
Tablao Flamenco Cordobes, like most tablaos, is the work of a family of artists, in this case the Adame family.
Luis Adame, musician and guitarist, performs all his training at the Conservatory of Madrid, where he finishes with great success the violin career in addition to various studies of harmony and classical guitar with maestro Sainzi de la Maza. After his training stage, he is seduced by the ability to express himself and the strength of flamenco and, together with the need to seek life in the terrible Spanish postwar period, he ends up making flamenco his profession, even being listed as such in the first edition of the history of Andalusia.
He began his professional career in flamenco in full social boom, with the recognition of the Spanish society of this art thanks to the success of flamenco in the international scene. Fernando Albéniz and Manuela de Falla, extraordinary musicians, created the base with which other great artists, such as La Argentinita, Pastora Imperio, Rosario or Antonio bewitched the rest of the world.
All that recognition crystallizes in the flamenco tablaos of Madrid and Seville. They come to live this stage Luis Adame and his wife, Irene Alba, great dancer and dancer, and Mila de Vargas, sister of Luis, recognized figure in the world of dance, which debuted with only 17 years in Duende, of Pastora Imperio . Luis Adame evokes this stage with great nostalgia: Nights looking for parties to work at the sale of Manolo Manzanilla, his performance on the Milan Scale in La Vida Breve, by Mariemma, his time at all the tablaos in Madrid or his friendships with great artists of the time: Mario Escudero, José Motos (who would become his brother-in-law) or Paco de Lucía, with whom he acted accompanying Bambino when he left the tablaos to become a star.
Later, Luis and Irene form their own company, focusing on their artistic concerns and artistic demands. In Salou, acting on their own show, they are known by Andres Durán and Joan Gaspart i Solves, still young, who offer them to partner to jointly manage the Tablao Flamenco Cordobes.
