About
Lise Viricel begins singing at age 7, and quickly joins the Masters of the National Opera of Lyon, where she will study for 8 years. This school allows him to acquire a good vocal technique, to address a broad repertoire and also to learn theater. She then pursues a dual training, primarily musical, but also theatrical. In 2008, she joined Marie-Claude Vallin's early music class at CNSMD in Lyon, where she perfected her knowledge of Baroque styles, and her solo and choral technique, by singing to one voice.
In parallel with her training, which she graduated from a Master in 2013, she sings in many productions, increasingly oriented towards early music, in concerts around composers such as Bach, Monteverdi, Purcell, Vivaldi, Carissimi , Rameau, etc.
Her theatrical training allows her to favor the stage, on which she is very comfortable, through recitals (at La Fenice in April 2016) or operas. Thus, she recently played Eurydice in Orpheus and Eurydice by Christoph W. Glück, Eurialo in Francesco Cavalli's L'Oristeo and Céphise in Alcione, by Marin Marais, at the Opéra Comique.
She also has an excellent experience of one-to-one music, particularly in the Renaissance and Baroque repertoires, as well as choir, for which she has been particularly trained. She performs with prestigious ensembles such as Arsys Bourgogne (director M. Zeke), Concerto Soave (director J.-M. Aymes), Spirito (director N. Corti) or the Royal Chapel of Catalonia (director J Savall).
She is also a member of the Coclico Ensemble (directed by B. Janin), with whom she specializes in improvised vocal counterpoint techniques of the 15th and 16th centuries. Finally, his participation in the Zéphire chamber ensemble allows him to approach as soloist a baroque repertoire that is both musical and theatrical.
