Music director, conductor and arranger of the New Century Symphony Orchestra.

Master of Music from the Royal Academy of Music, UK, PhD in Sound Engineering and Film Music Production from the University of Queensland, Australia.

·Worked in Hollywood for many years, and studied under the world's top film score master John Williams.

In 1997, he returned to China at the invitation of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs of China and served as a professor in the Composition Department and Sound Directing Department of Xinghai Conservatory of Music.

Produced the music for the opening ceremony of the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000.

The New Century Symphony Orchestra was founded in 2019 by Dr. Wu Jing, the orchestra's music director, arranger and conductor. All members of the orchestra are professional performers. The orchestra is based on a mixed arrangement of orchestra and electronic synthesizers, combined with the performance techniques of modern composition and arrangement, making its performance have the shocking effect of a large symphony orchestra and strong appeal.

The New Age Symphony Orchestra focuses on playing works in the New Age music style, and adds vocal accompaniment, special sound effects and folk instruments to the arrangement, creating a strong sense of modern space, or a mysterious, deep, majestic, or soul-stirring atmosphere.

The orchestra tours the country all year round, and has performed more than 100 shows in concert halls and theaters such as Xinghai Concert Hall, Guangzhou Opera House, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Shenzhen Concert Hall, Zhuhai Grand Theater, Dongguan Magnolia Theater, Shanghai Oriental Art Center, Nanjing Poly Theater, Changsha Concert Hall, and Jiangxi Art Center, and is deeply loved by the audience.

Zhuhai Grand Theatre

The Zhuhai Grand Theatre is the only opera house built on an island in the country! The theatre on Yeli Island in Zhuhai city comprises of one large and one small “seashell” making the whole architecture very distinctive, hence its nickname “The Seashell of Sun and Moon”. The theatre covers an area of 59,000 square meters, including a 1,500-seat large theatre and a 550-seat multi-functional small theatre. The shell-shaped structures draw inspiration from Zhuhai’s coastal features and there are even light projections at night!

Zhuhai Hengqin Chimelong Theater is the second permanent performing arts venue in Zhuhai Hengqin Chimelong International Ocean Resort. It was completed and opened in 2019. It is located in the center of the resort, connecting the charming pedestrian street along the Fuxiang River and Chimelong Ocean Kingdom. With a total construction area of approximately 63,000 square meters and more than 6,700 seats, it is a modern three-story special-effects technology venue that integrates a three-dimensional "water, land and air" experience, using a 270° panoramic ring stage and three surrounding waterways.

Zhuhai Hengqin Chimelong Theater is the second permanent performing arts venue in Zhuhai Hengqin Chimelong International Ocean Resort. It was completed and opened in 2019. It is located in the center of the resort, connecting the charming pedestrian street along the Fuxiang River and Chimelong Ocean Kingdom. With a total construction area of approximately 63,000 square meters and more than 6,700 seats, it is a modern three-story special-effects technology venue that integrates a three-dimensional "water, land and air" experience, using a 270° panoramic ring stage and three surrounding waterways, as well as more than 250 people. The meter-long high-altitude circular track, various water, land and air effects can be flexibly changed according to different programs, bringing immersive performance effects to the audience.
