This is how Jesus Cortes describes his relationship with flamenco. This young man from Sevilla, award winner of National Dance and a reference in the new Flamenco has performed all over the world, and for audiences that include the Prince of Wales, the singer Julio Iglesias to Oprah Winfrey or Dolce and Gabbana. Cortes was born in a family of artists, from the young age of six, he was already dancing in front of crowds. He was part of the company of Teresa Guerra, but ended going solo and creating his own company and school who he has performed with in the five corners of the world. He is also known as a very talented choreographer, for fusioning the roots of flamenco with jazz and soul, creating innovate shows that are periodically presented at El Patio Andaluz.
