After his successful tour "Alive - My Soundtrack" in 2022 with 32 concerts in 11 countries, DAVID GARRETT opens a new chapter with ICONIC.
His new classical album ICONIC was released on November 4th, 2022 by Deutsche Grammophon. ICONIC is inspired by those legendary violinists whose masterpieces and soulful melodies inspired DAVID GARRETT as a child. Music by Bach, Dvořák, Gluck, Kreisler, Mendelssohn and Schumann, to name but a few, is heard in new arrangements for violin, guitar and orchestra (by Franck van der Heijden and David Garrett).
The program will be played by GARRETT for the first time in a trio together with guitar and bass in concert. "Unfortunately, many wonderful works from the early days of the great virtuosos have fallen into oblivion." says DAVID. "So it means even more to me that I now have the opportunity to bring all these beautiful pieces to life again."

Since its revitalization in 2009, the cathedral square has been available for public and private events for up to 5,000 guests.
Surrounded by Linz's Mariendom, the Hotel am Domplatz, which was awarded the Bauherrnpreis, and the Domviertel restaurant, the Domplatz offers visitors an impressive concert experience.
