Saipan
Saipan is the largest of the Northern Mariana Islands, a U.S. commonwealth in the Western Pacific.

Close to the northern tip, Japanese memorials mark Banzai Cliff and Suicide Cliff, sites from the 1944 Battle of Saipan.
