Chisinau

Chisinau is the capital of Moldova. The city is located at the center of the country and is renowned for good food and wine.

Founded in the 15th Century, Chisinau has been almost completely destroyed by WWII and the 1940 earthquake. The city has been rebuilt after the war in Stalinist architecture style, with grandiose boulevards, many parks and monuments.
