Alpbach
Famous for its alpine setting the village of Alpbach is nestled on a road leading through Alpbachtal Tyrol that was not built until 1926. With the link to the valley tourists began arriving at the beginning of the 20th century and nowadays attracts over 22,000 visitors in summer, reporting the same numbers in winter. Its isolated location helped to preserve its Tyrolean style of architecture and furnishings enabling the local folk traditions.
