Although a good bit of A Coruña's shopping scene has migrated to Plaza de Lugo and surrounding streets, there are still dozens of top international brands and other establishments to browse along Calle Real, one of the city's oldest streets (dating back to Roman Empire days) and traditionally its main shopping street par excellence. Right in the heart of downtown, it's lined with venerable stone buildings with handsome white galleries of windows.
