The legendary jazz pianist Herbie Hancock is on the stage of Guangzhou Jazz Festival for the first time!

With his extraordinary accomplishments and world-shaking musical creativity, he has opened a golden age of electro-acoustic jazz. After nearly 60 years of music career, he has won 14 Grammy Awards, 34 Grammy nominations, 1 Oscar, and has released more than 60 albums worldwide. The lineup of this performance is luxurious. In addition to drummer Jaylen Petino, there are also bassist James Ginas of the live band of NBC's ace show "Saturday Night Live", famous South African jazz guitarist Lionel Lueck, and trumpeter Terrence Blanchard who has won 7 Grammy Awards! The super lineup, the carnival feast is ready to go.

A famous concert hall with modern architecture and a rich program of international events.

Opened in 1998, Xinghai Concert Hall is the biggest and most prestigious concert venue in Guangzhou, famed for its best architectural acoustics in China. The Hall is named after Xian Xinghai, a renowned Chinese composer, who was born in Guangzhou. The Hall consists of three parts, a symphony performing hall with 1500 seats, Chamber Music Hall and Music Material Room. The venue has hosted many world-class musicians and performing groups, including London Symphony Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, Russian National Orchestra, Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Itzhak Perlman, Anne-Sophie Mutter, Lorin Maazel, Mischa Maisky, Yo-Yo Ma, Lang Lang and Yundi Li.
